It All Started With a Wish

As I was traveling for business and staying in hotels, I realized something was missing. I wished I had my robe. I would get myself to my hotel room after a long day of corporate meetings and wanted some comfort. My thought just kept going back to the feeling I get when I put on my robe and wanted it more than ever. The robes hanging there looked good, but I was never sure that they were cleaned after each stay. That thought had kept me from putting on even the most luxurious robes. So the search was on!

The robe had to be soft and comfortable. Nothing on the market pleased me so off I went to make my own. After lots of prototypes and experimenting with different fabrics, I decided on the Bamboo-Lycra blend. Bamboo is said to be antibacterial, which will enable it to resist odors as you travel. Also, it has wicking properties. What a great bonus to the soft, comfortable feel!

Finally, it had to be compact. I never like to check a bag if I don’t have to, so space is a premium in my suitcase. I came up with the idea to fold it into its own pocket. Then, I could put it in my carry on. I also didn’t want anything extra like a separate pouch that would require using more resources and could get lost. The robe had to have a pocket, so why not use it? So, there it is… an amazing robe that folds into its own pocket with the added bonus of being your own personal pillow.
